Many of the practices we work with today are actually placing computer systems in the operatory. In addition to providing a complete digital patient record, these systems can offer chair-side check out, charting capabilities, treatment planning options, educational modules, electronic scheduling, and the ability to systematically record clinical data in a database where it can be easily accessed and manipulated.
